Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Before becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. From March to October 2018, Nauert was as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy during the Trump administration. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the President's Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
